Virologic Response Following a Switch to Dolutegravir-based Regimen in People Living with HIV/AIDS at a Tertiary Care Center in Nepal

Background The dolutegravir-based antiretroviral regimen is the preferred first-line for management of people living with human immunodeficiency virus in Nepal recently. It considered safe to transition a children and adults on Nevirapine Efavirenz-based regimens.
 Objective To determine virologic response following Dolutegravir-based previously taking regimen.
 Method This retrospective cohort study including virus/ acquired syndrome (HIV/AIDS) who were transitioned Tenofovir/Lamivudine/Dolutegravir other therapy regimens at least 6 months had their viral load test done before transition. medical records patients reviewed from available clinic Dhulikhel Hospital. 3 after switching was recorded. Descriptive analysis socio-demographic clinical characteristics data done.
 Result Fifty-seven included this study. Tenofovir/Lamivudine/Efavirenz (47.4%), Zidovudine/ Lamivudine/Nevirapine (22.8%) Zidovudine/Lamivudine/Efavirenz (17.5%) most common majority (86%) suppressed fewer than 40 copies/mL switch. Following transition, 96.5% copies/mL.
 Conclusion led untransmittable switch regimen.
